In this year\u2019s final, <strong>PSV Eindhoven<\/strong> will face <strong>Feyenoord<\/strong>, as champions of the Dutch League and Cup, respectively, in the first official match of the season and the Johan Cruyff Institute will be present to continue promoting the educational work of <strong>Johan Cruyff&#8217;s legacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute will grant 14 scholarships, seven to each team, for its online courses in <a href=\"https:\/\/johancruyffinstitute.cruyffalumni.org\/en\/programa\/course-in-sport-management-fundamentals-online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Sport Management Fundamentals<\/strong><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/johancruyffinstitute.cruyffalumni.org\/en\/programa\/course-in-football-business-fundamentals-online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Football Business Fundametals<\/strong><\/a>, which can be accessed by both staff members and players, at the decision of the board of directors of each club. The trophy has been named the Johan Cruyff Shield since 1996, in honor of our founder.<\/p>\n<div class=\"responsive-video\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LKxFNieDG08?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen> width=&#8221;560&#8243; height=&#8221;315&#8243; frameborder=&#8221;0&#8243; allowfullscreen=&#8221;allowfullscreen&#8221;><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The scholarships awarded in the 2017 edition went to <strong>Vitesse<\/strong> and <strong>Feyenoord<\/strong>. The Feyenoord midfielder Jens Toornstra was one of those who decided to take the opportunity and chose the Sport Management Fundamentals course. &#8220;It was very interesting, especially the module on leadership, because you learn different models and how to apply them, depending on whether it\u2019s a sports organization or a team.
