The TRAM Barcelona Open, with the collaboration of the Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a>, reaches its third edition to consolidate itself as a leading wheelchair tennis tournament<\/h2>\n

From June 26 to 30, the Real Club de Polo Barcelona will host the third edition of the TRAM Barcelona Open<\/a>, an international wheelchair tennis tournament that again has the collaboration of the Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis year we have worked on the idea of consolidating the tournament category, ITF2, with the aim of trying to jump to the top category before the fifth edition,” explains Jos\u00e9 Coronado<\/a>, director of the TRAM Barcelona Open<\/a> and former student of the Master in Sport Management<\/a> at the Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a>. \u201cThis year\u2019s novelties are related to the structure of the tournament and the improvement of the infrastructure. We have incorporated into the staff two new people with a lot of experience in wheelchair tennis and in organizing tournaments, with the aim of expanding and professionalizing the organization. I will be able to deal more directly with the tasks related to management and the relationship with the sponsors. I am convinced that the change will be for the better and it will bring us a leap in quality. The infrastructure that surrounds the tournament has also been improved, so we can offer players greater comfort, as well as a more spectacular image”.<\/p>\n
