The memory of <strong>Johan Cruyff<\/strong> was present at the various events held in Amsterdam, Barcelona (where the online student community also joined) and Sweden. And the testimony of students, representatives of the institution and academic partners reflected a sincere gratitude and recognition of the legacy of <strong>Johan Cruyff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not in vain, this academic year marks 20 years since the establishment of <a href=\"\/johancruyffinstitute-2026?page_id=41528\"><strong>Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a>, a date that the general manager, <strong>Mar\u00efel Koerhuis<\/strong>, proudly recalled in front of the students of the <a href=\"https:\/\/johancruyffinstitute.cruyffalumni.org\/en\/barcelona-spain\/\">Barcelona on-campus, blended<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/johancruyffinstitute.cruyffalumni.org\/en\/academic-programs\/\">online<\/a> programs gathered in the splendid <strong>Museu Mar\u00edtim<\/strong>, where Johan Cruyff&#8217;s wife and companion for 50 years, <strong>Danny Cruyff,<\/strong> was also present. Johan had a vision, accepted the challenge and decided to challenge the educational world. He surrounded himself with the best talent, allied himself with other academic institutions and confronted the world he knew, creating <a href=\"\/johancruyffinstitute-2026?page_id=41528\"><strong>Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a>. Johan wanted to educate athletes so that they could offer the best of themselves to sport and society. That is his legacy and the reason that led him to create our institution. We feel that we are restarting with our commitment, now motivated by <strong>the legacy of Johan Cruyff<\/strong>, to continue educating the next generation of leaders in sport
