The new 2019-20 academic year starts at Johan Cruyff Institute with students of 57 different nationalities and representation on the five continents<\/h2>\n

Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> starts the 2019-20 academic year with a new set of students who, with our specialized academic training in sport management<\/strong><\/a>, sport marketing and sponsorship<\/strong><\/a>, football business<\/strong><\/a> and coaching<\/strong><\/a>, have the enthusiasm and ambition to join the thousands of graduates that, year after year, are nourishing the increasingly demanding sports industry worldwide as well-qualified professionals.<\/p>\n

This year the Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> classrooms are welcoming students from the five continents: a total of 446 new students from 57 different nationalities distributed between the on-campus and blended programs in Barcelona, the Netherlands, Peru, Mexico<\/strong> and online<\/strong><\/a>. An interesting and heterogeneous combination of future leaders in the sports industry. To these, we must add the youngest in the network: 207 students at Johan Cruyff College<\/strong><\/a> (vocational education for elite athletes in the Netherlands) and 90 at Johan Cruyff Academy<\/strong><\/a> (four-year bachelor program sport marketing for elite athletes in the Netherlands). Johan Cruyff Academy<\/strong><\/a> has recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary<\/a>. It was there that the academic legacy of Johan Cruyff<\/strong> <\/a>began which, in 2002, was expanded with the creation of Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a>, dedicated to higher education.<\/p>\n

During the month of September, the centers in Barcelona<\/strong> and the Netherlands<\/strong> organized their welcome days for the new on-campus and blended program students. The Frans Otten Stadium<\/strong> in Amsterdam<\/strong> was the setting chosen for the kick-off of Johan Cruyff Institute Amsterdam<\/strong><\/a>, with 64 new students for the Master in Sport Management<\/strong><\/a> and the Master in Coaching<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The action moved two weeks later to Barcelona<\/strong>, the international headquarters of Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> where all the activities are coordinated\u00a0 and the on-campus and blended<\/a> master\u2019s degrees<\/strong><\/a> and postgraduate diplomas<\/strong><\/a> are taught, and the online programs<\/strong><\/a> are managed. A good many of the students from Barcelona<\/strong> enrolled in the Official Master’s Degree in Sport Management<\/strong><\/a> taught jointly with the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona, the Master in Sport Management Blended<\/strong><\/a>, the Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Management<\/strong><\/a>, the Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Marketing<\/strong><\/a> and the Master in Football Business in partnership with FC Barcelona<\/strong><\/a> received the welcome from the general manager, Mari\u00ebl Koerhuis,<\/strong> on the premises of Johan Cruyff Institute Barcelona.<\/strong><\/p>\n
