Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a> extends its partnership with World Football Summit<\/a> as Academic Partner for 2020, reinforcing its commitment to professionalize the football industry together with one of the most prestigious summits worldwide<\/h2>\n

Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> is proud to announce the\u00a0renewal of its partnership as Academic Partner of World Football Summit<\/strong><\/a> for 2020. We have been part of this prestigious summit since the very beginning, hosting one of their panels at the flagship event in Madrid, bringing to stage big names like\u00a0Jorge Valdano<\/strong>, <\/a>Roberto Mart\u00ednez<\/a>, <\/strong>Christian Karembeu<\/strong><\/a> or\u00a0 Shabnam Mobarez<\/strong><\/a>, among others. In 2019, Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> joined World Football Summit<\/strong><\/a> in its international expansion as part of the World Football Summit Asia Expo Area<\/strong><\/a> and next year we\u2019ll take a step further.<\/p>\n

Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> will be Academic Partner\u00a0at\u00a0World Football Summit Africa<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0World Football Summit Asia<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0World Football Summit 20<\/a><\/strong>. In the fifth edition of the event in Madrid, we will once again host a panel which will be focused on\u00a0underlining the need for professional athletes to continue with their academic education<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in order to face the challenges of life after sport.<\/p>\n

This has been the main principle of our institution founded by football\u00a0legend\u00a0Johan Cruyff<\/strong><\/a>, an inspiring leader and\u00a0one of the most influential figures in the recent history of sport.<\/strong>\u00a0Johan firmly believed that\u00a0no one was better suited to serve the best interests of sport than someone with the heart of an athlete,\u00a0<\/strong>but he was also convinced that in order to fulfill that role athletes needed to improve their education.<\/p>\n
