Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a> took part in the Latin American congress SportBizLatam Mexico<\/a>, on February 15th and 16th, providing content on sport management<\/a><\/h2>\n

SportBizLatam<\/strong><\/a>, the Latin American Sports Business Congress organized by our partner Good Morning Sports<\/strong><\/a>, celebrated its first edition in Mexico on February 15th and 16th, bringing together the best of the sports industry at the Citibanamex Center. After 21 editions in more than 10 different countries, SPORTBIZ comes to Mexico City<\/strong><\/a>, counted again with the collaboration of Johan Cruyff Institute<\/strong><\/a> as Learning Partner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The largest sports industry community in Latin America is consolidating its presence in the region as it develops into one of the biggest and most promising markets in the industry. Over two days, the Mexican sports ecosystem had access to conferences, panels, an exhibition area, innovation showcases and networking sessions, promoting the development of business opportunities, the expansion of the Latin American market and the finding of solutions for the challenges the industry faces.<\/p>\n

The agenda<\/strong><\/a> was focused on key topics such as sports capital<\/strong><\/a>, digital transformation<\/strong><\/a>, global audiences<\/strong><\/a>, innovation and sports tech<\/strong><\/a>, inspiring brands<\/strong><\/a> and sport management<\/strong><\/a>, with a varied program of panel discussions. Johan Cruyff Institute<\/a> hosted a luxury panel in the first session of the event, on February 15th at 3.15 p.m. local time. Rodrigo Morales<\/a>, vice-president of Wasserman Latin America<\/strong>, Rodolfo Ramirez<\/a>, director of Azteca Deportes at TV Azteca<\/strong>, and Rodrigo Sanchez<\/a>, head of press and marketing at the Heineken Mexico City Formula One Grand Prix<\/strong>, discussed ‘Mexico’s leadership in the sports business’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Students and former students enjoyed the fisrt ever SportBizLatam Mexico,. We hosted a panel of experts on the development of the business in the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The main sports properties and companies in the region met during the congress, which was attended by FIFA, MLS and other international federations, brands and national and international clubs.<\/p>\n

We were present with a stand<\/strong> to inform attendees about all our academic programs<\/a> in sport management<\/strong><\/a>, sport marketing and sponsorship<\/strong><\/a>, and football business<\/strong><\/a>, both for individuals and sports organizations.<\/p>\n
